How do I create a multi-part syllabus based on number of items needed?

Go to Syllabus.

Select the Syllabus tool from the Tool Menu in your site.

Click Add.

Give your syllabus items a title and select Create syllabus items by number of items needed.

The title you provide here becomes the first part of the syllabus item title with a number appended to it.

Specify the desired number of items in the drop-down menu, then select Add.

The Manage Syllabus Items screen will display.

Notice that you now have the number of syllabus items that you specified in the last step.

From this screen, you may rename syllabus items, move them up or down, specify start or end times, add or remove them from the calendar, publish/unpublish items, and remove items.  

Select Edit Details to edit an individual item.

The Edit Syllabus Item screen will display.

From this screen, you may add item details, attach files, enter start/end dates, add the item to the calendar, select email notification options, and publish or save the item as draft.

Make any needed edits to the item, and then Publish.

Review the item information to make sure it appears as you intend. When you are done, click Publish to publish your syllabus.

Repeat this process for any additional syllabus items.

When you return to the Syllabus tab, your syllabus items will display. The first item will be expanded by default.
