How do I view announcements?
View announcements from Home, from an individual course or project site, from the Announcements tool, or from Bullhorn alerts. Note that some options display announcements from all your sites, whereas options within a specific site will only display announcements from that site.
Viewing announcements in Home using Dashboard
The Dashboard tool in your Home site displays announcements from all your sites.
Go to the Dashboard tool.
While you are logged in to Home, open Dashboard from the Tool Menu.
Click on the announcement's View option.
View announcement details.
Viewing Announcements in Bullhorn Alerts
The Bullhorn Alerts area displays announcements from all your sites.
Click the notification bell icon in the top navigation.
Open the Announcements dropdown.
Click on an announcement's icon.
View announcement details.
Viewing announcements in Home using Overview
The Overview area in your Home site displays announcements from all your sites.
Go to the Overview area and then move down the page.
When you are logged in to Home:
- Open Overview from the Tool Menu
- Move down the page to view the Announcements area. The Announcements area will display announcements from all your active courses.
Click on the announcement subject.
View announcement details.
Viewing announcements in a Course or Project site using Overview
The Overview area in a Course or Project site displays announcements from that specific site.
Go to the Overview area and then move down the page.
When you are viewing a course or project site:
- Open Overview
- Move down the page to view the Announcements area. The Announcements area will display all active announcements from this site.
Click on the announcement subject.
View announcement details.
Viewing announcements in a Course or Project site using Announcements
The Announcements tool in a Course or Project site displays announcements from that specific site. Note that the Announcements tool in your Home site will display announcements from all your sites rather than those of a single site.
Go to the Announcements tool.
When you are viewing a course or project site, select the Announcements tool.
Click on the announcement subject.
View announcement details.
