How do I moderate a topic?
Moderated Topics allow the instructor to review and approve posts before other site participants can view them. If a discussion is moderated, each post must be reviewed and approved.
Setting a Topic as moderated
Go to Discussions.

Select Discussions from the Tool Menu of your site.
Click Topic Settings.

Activate Moderate Topic.

Move down the page to locate the Topic Posting area. Activate Moderate Topic.
Click Save.

Moderating pending messages
Click Pending Messages.

Approve or Deny pending posts.

- Check the box associated with a pending post.
- Click Deny to prevent the post from becoming available to other site participants, or Approve to immediately make the post available to other site participants.
Note: Approved post will be visible to all site participants immediately. Denied posts remain visible to the instructor only.
