How do I preview an assessment (i.e. test or quiz)?

You can preview an assessment by using the Preview option in the Action menu, or by using a non-UVA guest email account to access your site as a student and submit the assessment.

Go to Tests & Quizzes.

Select the Tests & Quizzes tool from the Tool Menu of your site.

From the Tests & Quizzes tool home screen, select Preview from the Action drop-down menu for the assessment.

Note: The Preview option is available in both the Working Copies and Published Copies tabs.

Preview the assessment.

Walk through the preview of your assessment, starting with the Begin Assessment screen.

Note: The preview does not allow you to save answers, submit the assessment or see how feedback displays for students.

Or access your site using a non-UVA guest account.

You can access the Tests & Quizzes tool and submit an assessment by adding your non-UVA email address to your site as a Student and logging in with this guest email account.  For steps to do so, see How do I check what students or members can see and do in my site?
