How do I use upvoting in Conversations?

You may Upvote topics or posts to indicate that you think they are particularly noteworthy.

Upvoting must be enabled by the instructor in order to access this feature in your site.

You may only upvote topics or posts authored by others in the site. You cannot upvote your own topics or posts.

Go to the Conversations tool.

Select the Conversations tool from the Tool Menu of your site.

Click on a topic.

Click on a topic in the topic list.

Click Upvote.

For the topic or post you would like to upvote, select the Upvote button.

View the upvoted topic or post.

You will see a number next to the upvoted items. This number represents the total count of upvotes for that item, including yours.

Viewing your own topics or posts.

Remember! You can only upvote others' topics or posts. You cannot upvote your own topics or posts.

When you view your own posts, you will see the Upvote button and the count, but you will not see the upward pointing arrow indicating that you can upvote.

Removing your upvote. (Optional)

Once you've upvoted a topic or post, you can select the Upvote button again to remove your upvote.
