How do I change the attendance statuses for my course?

Go to Attendance.

From the Attendance landing page, select the Settings tab.

View the Settings landing page.

From the Settings landing page, make any necessary edits to the Status Settings.

  1. Drag and drop the status options (or change the numbers in the boxes) to reorder their appearance in the tool itself.
  2. Select the check box for a status option to appear in the Attendance tool. Or un-check the box to de-select an option and remove it from the Attendance tool.
  3. Check the Show comments to students check box in order to allow participants to see any attendance comments added by the instructor.

After you've made the necessary updates, click the Save Settings button.
